Overview
Genital aesthetic procedures take between one and two hours and are performed for both aesthetic and practical reasons. When performed correctly, genital aesthetic procedures also provide sexual, sanitary, psychological, and medicinal advantages in addition to their aesthetic ones.
For genital area cosmetic procedures, laser treatments have become increasingly popular in recent years. In this discipline, carbon dioxide (CO2) lasers are the most frequently chosen technique.
Reasons to have the operation
Due to factors that become apparent at birth, throughout childbirth, and as women age, they frequently suffer issues with their genitalia. These issues may have a negative impact on the sexual life of both women and their partners. Although this is seen as a taboo subject, it is commonly recognized that even tiny surgical operations can result in significant changes. Surgical procedures can be used to address issues like flaws, asymmetry, and sagging vaginal lips.
Recovery Period
Most genital region cosmetic procedures are not painful, and any discomfort that does arise can usually be readily controlled with medicines. Most patients are discharged on the same day.
Surgical Methods
Labiaplasty:
Large lips, or bigger and thicker portions, and small lips, which are thinner and are positioned further inside, make up the labium, the exterior genital structure.
These extended or sagging lips can be cut shorter and corrected with a straightforward procedure. Lips that are slack and empty can be made fuller.
Patients can readily continue their regular activities after labiaplasty. During the healing process, however, sexual activity should be avoided for 4-5 weeks.
Vaginoplasty:
The vagina size in certain women may be structurally greater than usual. Additionally, normal delivery, birth tears (tears from giving birth), a high birth rate, inability to close the episiotomy incision at the time of the first birth or opening of the sutures, having a large baby, diminished vaginal elasticity, and loosening with advancing age are also possible causes.
A longitudinal portion of the posterior vaginal wall is removed during vaginal constriction. The muscular layer and the mucosal layer are repaired separately using sutures. The procedure took around an hour.
Clitoral Hudoplasty:
The upper clitoris might have excessive skin layers that are both unsightly and negatively impact sexual desire, requiring a clitoral homoplasy procedure. Typically, the procedure is carried out with labiaplasty surgery. If the clitoral hood is not treated after the inner lips are reduced in size, the projecting appearance there becomes much more obvious. Patients become unsatisfied as a result. It is therefore recommended to perform clitoral cosmetic surgery alongside labiaplasty.
Hymen Suturing:
Hymen suturing is a common aesthetic surgical procedure that patients want for social or familial reasons. The flap procedure can restore hymen permanently.
Fat Injections:
After extreme weight loss, the effects of gravity, and aging, the genital area loses fat tissue, and the outer vaginal lips weaken and sag. Both the pubic region and the outer vaginal lips are treated with purified fat before being injected, giving the patient’s appearance a full and young aspect.
