Hair Mesotherapy

If you are like many people who have a hair loss problem but do not prefer to have hair transplant surgery for any reason, hair mesotherapy is a safe and low-cost alternative to treating some minor hair problems without the need for complex surgeries.

Hair mesotherapy is based on injecting the affected areas with nourishing liquid containing a complex of vitamins and amino acids necessary for hair growth throughout several sessions.

Hair mesotherapy strengthens weak and frizzy hair, stops hair loss, and, in some cases, regrows hair.

Before the mesotherapy procedure

Doctors advise, before performing mesotherapy for hair, exposing the hair to thermotherapy, where the hair is softened by ozonized steam, and a massage is made for the scalp.
It has been clinically proven that mesotherapy is less painful if thermotherapy is performed beforehand.

How Does Mesotherapy for Hair Loss Work?
This technique is based on the fact that most hair loss problems are caused by hormone problems around the hair follicles, a lack of proper nutrients that help hair health, and decreased blood circulation in the scalp.
Before mesotherapy injections of hair, the patient is subjected to local anesthesia by the anesthetic, or sometimes by ice, and a liquid is prepared to contain various components that help regrow and strengthen hair. The contents of the liquid may include vitamins, minerals, nucleic acids, amino acids, and enzymes, and the content of the injection can be tailored according to each patient’s condition individually.
The liquid is loaded into a machine called a mesotherapy gun connected to a computer, through which the quantities to be injected are determined.
The trigger of this device is pressed to inject the substance into the scalp in the affected area with a depth of about 1 mm; this injection is carried out over several sessions depending on the size of the area.
A special oil serum is applied to close the pores.
It is important for the patient not to wash, wet, or apply any medication to the hair.
Another method of mesotherapy is to inject manually rather than by computer, but this is less accurate.

How long will the therapy last?
The duration of treatment depends on the person, but on average, mesotherapy is performed over several sessions, each lasting an average of 40 minutes.
The first four sessions are held weekly, with the final four sessions held once every five days. The intervals between the first four sessions should not exceed 11 days, while the last four sessions should not exceed 22 days.
Mesotherapy is recommended once in September and October and again in April and May when the seasons change.
Some doctors advise their patients to have mesotherapy for hair once a month.
